The Cottage is an authentic old-world stone-wall Pyrennean farmer's house. Step in from the typically cobbled and narrow Catalan style Rue L'Eglise to an authentic experience of rustic Pyrenean living: a delightful stone-walled cottage with wood beam ceilings and a roaring fire in the grate.

The bathroom has toilet,washroom and a shower. The cellar also has a toilet and shower and acces to the garden

The living space and the kitchen/ dining space ajoin to form a large ground floor area.There are three pleasant double bedrooms. The two main rooms have fabulous views across the valley and down to the Mediterranean.

Visiting Corsavy effectively means visiting two countries: France and Catalu¯a. Catalu¯a is a region that stretches across the east Pyrenees spanning France and Spain, with Barçelona as its capital. Locals consider themselves to be Catalan first and French second.

There are many fantastic excursions within an hour's drive of Corsavy including Barçelona, Gerona and Perpignan, and many sightseeing opprtunities even closer at hand such as the coast, the vineyards of Rousillon and the local towns such as Amelie les Bains and Arles-sur-Tech.

Corsavy is a 20 minute drive from the local town Ceret. Picturesque and unspoiled, Ceret is popular for it's thriving market, a good resource for fresh local produce, and well- known for its artists' colony. Picasso was once its most celebrated resident.
